He was also strategic, using his advantages to sabotage his biggest perceived threats, being Lynn, Jordan, and James, during the season. He initially started out as one of the underdogs, and would be in the middle of the pack when it came to cooking, however later on he gradually evolved into one of the stronger competitors, putting out excellent dishes in Mystery Boxes and winning several Team Challenges, despite remaining a consistently middle of the pack performer in Elimination Challenges. Eddie was a very respectful and confident cook, and had one of the more likable personalities, leading him to getting along with most of his fellow competitors.
